What do kids get out of practising yoga?
Iyengar yoga classes for children are fun and help build physical and emotional resilience.
Physical Benefits
Iyengar Yoga uses props like blocks and straps, helping children safely stretch and increase their range of motion. Holding poses strengthens muscles, promoting overall physical development. The emphasis on alignment helps kids develop better balance and coordination skills.
Mental and Emotional Benefits
The focus on detail and posture encourages mindfulness and improves attention span. Breathing techniques and relaxation practices help children manage stress and anxiety. Mastering new poses gives kids a sense of accomplishment and boosts self-esteem.
Structured Learning
With its methodical approach, Iyengar Yoga ensures that kids practice safely, minimizing the risk of injury. Overall, Iyengar Yoga offers a holistic approach to child development, nurturing both body and mind in a fun, supportive way.
