Pregnancy Yoga Classes in North West London
Pregnancy Yoga + Social Tea
Iyengar yoga uses supportive props to help you and your baby practice safely, comfortably, and with confidence. During pregnancy, we focus on poses that create space in the uterus, encouraging healthy circulation and giving your baby plenty of room to grow and move.
Gentle postures that lengthen and align the spine can help ease lower back discomfort, improve posture, and strengthen the pelvic floor. We also explore calming pranayama (breathing) techniques that gently open the chest, supporting comfortable breathing and healthy oxygen flow for both you and your baby.
Regular practice can help you feel more relaxed, reduce tiredness and tension, and provide a nurturing space to connect with your body throughout your pregnancy.
In the Iyengar yoga tradition, students are advised not to begin or resume yoga practice during pregancy until after week 17.
We are thrilled to partner with Sarah Seror from The Motherhood Practice for our Pregnancy Class. Recognising that the journey to motherhood is better shared, Sarah will be hosting a Post-Class Social Tea after every Friday session. As a community lead, founder, and mum of two, Sarah’s goal is to ensure you leave the course with a support group and ‘village’ to hang out with after birth. Stay for a cuppa, break the ice, and build lasting connections!
The Motherhood Practice is a specialist midwife service designed to complement the NHS throughout your maternity journey.
