A number of you have asked how you can help. Here is a list of some of the leading charities that are working to help the situation in India. Click on the name of a charity to go to their donation page.
Charities linked to RIMYI
Due to the pandemic COVID-19 and the lockdown, many of the daily wage workers and migrant labourers are suffering a lot. In association with local Government authorities, the Bellur Trust has started a new task of supplying and delivering the food grains to those in need.
Rima is is known by many in our community as the owner of Hand Made, a shop (now closed) selling Pune pants and other clothing. She is personally keeping her assistant Shanta and her family going, and is asking for our help with other families she has taken on. All of them are short of food, and some need medical supplies.
